community, and generate visibility.
Who Is Eligible?
Chamber Members (Free)
Ribbon cuttings are available for:
New businesses
Relocations
Expansions
New ownership
Groundbreakings
Milestone anniversaries (10+ years)
Non-Members
Available for a $100 fee (applied toward membership if you join within 90 days).
What the Chamber Provides
Event promotion
Ribbon and ceremonial scissors
Coordination with Chamber leadership and Ambassadors
Media outreach (when appropriate)
Event photography
Post-event photo sharing
Hosting Business Responsibilities
Invite guests, clients, and community partners
Prepare brief remarks (2–5 minutes)
Optional refreshments and/or facility tour
Scheduling
Minimum 2 weeks notice required
Events typically last 15–30 minutes
Wednesday–Friday dates often have best attendance
One complimentary ribbon cutting per member per 12 months
